Dr. Milind S. Kulkarni
Ph.D. (Chemical Engineering), MBA
Milind Shrinivas Kulkarni is a technology executive. He has served in various executive capacities, from CEO to CTO, in semiconductor silicon and solar silicon sectors. His contribution to the development of various silicon based products is internationally recognized. Milind is an author or co-author of more than 70 international journal publications, patents, conference presentations, invited plenary talks, and book chapters, collectively. Milind has extensively worked in both the US and India. His geographical business exposure covers many countries in the northern hemisphere.
Milind considers himself to be fortunate to have had the unique exposure from rural India to all corners of the world. Moreover, his early education in Kannada and deep exposure to Sanskrit gives him a proper perspective of the rich Indian culture. Milind is driven to provide any help he can to support the cause of education for the underprivileged. He also likes to enable improvement in the quality of education in Indian languages in rural India.
Milind holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Mumbai (UDCT), master’s degree from Oregon State University, doctorate from Washington University, all in chemical engineering. He also holds a master’s degree in business administration, from Washington University. Milind won the Alumni Achievement Award of Washington University in 2012.
