Dr. Prashant T. Hegde

Dr. Prashant Hegde is a dentist and oral surgeon with more than 30 years of academic experience as a professor and principal of various dental colleges. He has also maintained a private dental practice. Alongside caring for patients and teaching students, he has participated in social initiatives as a blood donor and has pledged his eyes for donation.

Prashant has written numerous research papers and articles in professional and international journals. He has also authored two books in his field.

As a philanthropist, he has served as Secretary of the Lions Club of Kumta. He continues to serve as a founding trustee of the Shrinivas Kulkarni Charitable Trust.
