The SKC Trust, established in 2021, is a commendable initiative driven by a genuine commitment to giving back to society. The vision of Shri Milind Kulkarni to contribute meaningfully to the place where he grew up and received his education, in memory of his father, Late Shri Srinivas Kulkarni, reflects a deep sense of gratitude and social responsibility.

What makes the Trust particularly noteworthy is its consistent support to meritorious students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Supporting more than 150 students every year, with financial assistance exceeding ₹25 lakhs annually in the recent years, is a significant contribution towards enabling young minds to pursue their education without financial constraints.

The Trust’s service extends beyond education. Its assistance to individuals facing serious health and financial difficulties, support to deserving social and cultural organisations, and recognition of individuals who have made notable contributions to society demonstrate a broad and compassionate approach to community service.

The support extended to educational institutions, including IIT Madras, local cultural organisations such as the Keremane Yakshagana institution, and several high schools is particularly appreciable. These initiatives reflect a genuine commitment to education, culture and the overall development of society.

In my view, SKC Trust is not merely providing financial assistance; it is creating opportunities, encouraging talent and inspiring a culture of giving back to society. The work undertaken by Shri Milind Kulkarni and his team is a source of inspiration to many. I sincerely appreciate the noble initiatives of SKC Trust and wish Shri Milind Kulkarni and the entire team continued strength and opportunities to serve society on an even larger scale.
